This evocative work would be considered by many

In drawing from the model, Sandler chose to place
the figure in a corner, leaving the space empty.
The next day he freely improvised the tree, sky and
lakeside, making an integrated composition. By this
means the artist bridges the transition from drawing
to painting, and the studio to the outdoors.
This large decorative composition is offered at the price
of smaller drawings, and is a bargain at $200. If you select
a suite of four drawings, the price is only $150 each.
