Paradise is the happiest six month effort in Sandler’s
experience. The composition is a "continuous
narrative" that hosts an abundance of creatures
and nature forms shown in deep space.
Critic Richard Zoller wrote of
Another Day in
Paradise "...There are a hundred details within it
which could be isolated, each a balanced
masterpiece.... There is a lot more to tell about the
Sandler studio: the drawings, the nudes... and the
other fine paintings, but I was so taken with the
big picture that I find it difficult to concentrate
on anything else. It was a great experience."
