Soft stillness and the night observe the moon,
the flying clouds, the stars and planets, and the
Cecropea moth in migration
The town sleeps perched on a mountain top,
the houses dark mostly, contrast with light of the
moon, and several windows brightly lit in
anticipation of we know not what visitation.
A luminous and colorful night scene realized in
resin-oil color, in the brilliant manner of the early
Flemish masters. $1500
