RAINBOW TIDES, 18"x24"
This monotype, one of the artist’s favorite compositions, inspired a set of etchings. The title
suggests an ocean’s shore, with the receding tide leaving rainbows of color in the sand. It might
also be a slowly moving river, passing through a wide valley. The viewer is sure to feel its peace
whichever interpretation he prefers.
