Sedona is considered a holy place
by the Apache. They believe it
is where the race of Man was born
of Earth Mother, fathered by the
rain and a rainbow. Sedona has inspired
many artists, not the least, Al Sandler.
In Sandler’s painting the drama of red
rock formations, is complemented by
cloud forms and the patch of blue,
that provides the title of this strong
yet elegant artwork.
