The pearly light of morning,
opal-patterned clouds reaching
into the distance, and mysterious
tints in the mountains characterize
this view of Bisbee, in the bosom
of the Mule Mountains.
The title calls one’s attention to
Saint Pat’s church lit by a beam
of light, and the Cochise County
Courthouse next to it. "Quality Hill"
with its densely clustered homes
from the 1900’s are represented in
gem-like scale. Closer, the view is
framed by oak, yucca, and mesquite.
A snug compostion, $2500.
