Below street level, the garden is hidden, sheltered,
very quiet. Many people who have lived in Bisbee all
their lives, or who work nearby, don't know it's there.
The statue of Tamino, the hero of Mozart's opera The
Magic Flute was made of fiberglass by Al. It will be cast
in bronze one day. He also built the fountain waterfall.
The garden, dominated by a cork oak tree, has a
table, chairs and grill available for the use of guests.
The Dianthus bed blooms twice a year. There
are both wild and hybrid iris in the Spring, and
roses from Summer to Fall. Guest are invited to
use herbs from the garden if they want to cook.
Our garden is a relaxing place to escape the
pressures of civilization, or the heat of the desert.
